After completing a degree in weaving & embroidery design, AMY ADAMS spent the next twelve years working for Coats Europe handicrafts division, initially as a designer and subsequently co-running the UK based in-house design studio.
Family relocation led to freelance work and in 2007, Amy began writing the online craft blog 'Lucykate Crafts'. She was then approached by an American based aquisitions editor and invited to write a sewing pattern book with C&T Publishing. Amy has also contributed numerous project designs to collaborative books, magazines and websites.
Amy had to take a break from design work after a sudden serious illness in 2017, but is now returning with a new venture, a fresh name and brand new projects.
